Private Testing Center’s Trich NAAT test is a painless, accurate and affordable test for a very common Sexually Transmitted Infection.
Our test screens your urine for the nucleic acid — genetic blueprints — of the Trichomonas parasite. The test is so sensitive, it’s able to detect as little as 1 single blueprint!
The first morning’s urine is recommended for this test, but any time of day is acceptable as long as you’ve waited at least 1 1/2 hours since urinating.
You MUST WAIT at least 10 days from your last contact of concern, or else the test won’t be accurate. Private Testing Center will always determine how long has passed since a contact of concern, so we can be certain you are not wasting your time and money by testing too soon.
– What is Trich? –
Trich is an infection caused by a one-celled organism Trichomonas. It’s not a very serious infection, but can lead to symptoms such as itching, burning, redness, soreness or discomfort while urinating. Trichomonas is very easy to cure, but the only way to know for sure if you have it is to get tested for it.
